What does the hiring process to the Parrots engineering look like?
1. Application
Select the position you like and fill out the form that appears after clicking the “Apply now” button. Our recruiter Martin Zatko (LinkedIn) will get to you as soon as possible.
2. Intro chat (30 minutes, remotely)
Our recruiter and/or engineering manager will meet you for initial call. The goal is to tell you more about what we are up to and at the same time get to know you. Together, we will evaluate whether it would be a good fit.
3. Technical Interview (60-90 minutes, remotely or in-person)
This is mostly discussion based interview. You don't need to prepare anything but your sharp mind. We want to get insight into your experience, technology overview, system design skills and coding practices.
4. Interview panel (120 minutes, remotely)
You’ll meet at least 3 different people from our side. Usually these are product managers, engineering leads or manager, and sometimes even our CEO, Aaron O’Brien. The discussion will be focused on healthy engineering practices and product collaboration.
5. Meet the team (Optional)
It would be great to see each other in person if we haven't had the chance until now. Have a lunch with us or just visit casually our team in the office to get to know everyone.
6. Offer
We will provide you with an offer consisting of compensation, seniority, growth & onboarding information. You’ll have everything you need to evaluate whether we’d be the right fit for you.
*Remote interviews usually takes place via Google Meet.
